Sessions will begin online at the end of October with exact dates to be confirmed.
This group is a space for victim-survivors to connect with others who have lived through similar experiences of sexual violence in a way that affirms their reality and reduces isolation. It is a confidential, inclusive and non-judgemental space where your experiences are respected, heard and validated and you can:
- Feel respected and supported
- Connect with peers who understand your experience
- Share as much or as little as you want
- Be empowered to co-create the group and help guide discussions
- Explore wellbeing and self-care
- Build connection and community
The group will be facilitated by trained peers who are LGBTIQA+ and victim-survivors. A Laurel House counsellor will also facilitate to provide professional support.
To express your interest in participating, please email Toni at groups@laurelhouse.org.au or call 6431 9711.
