Have you experienced misconduct by a Tasmania Police officer in relation to sexual violence?
Laurel House invites people with lived experience of police sexual misconduct to do an interview with us. Your story will help shape our recommendations to the Parliamentary Inquiry into Tasmania Police responses to allegations of officer misconduct.
As a specialist sexual violence service, we want to hear from people whose experiences are of sexual misconduct perpetrated by police officers.
This may include child sexual abuse, sexual assault or sexual harassment, as well as physical or online sexual misconduct, such as technology-facilitated abuse and the creation or sharing of AI-generated sexual images.
Before including anything in our submission, we will talk with you about how you want your contribution to be used. We will not use your name, story or words without your agreement and your contributions can be completely anonymous.
You will be supported by Laurel House staff and counselling support will be available. We welcome people from all backgrounds and encourage you to tell us about anything you need to participate safely and comfortably.
This is a paid opportunity. You will receive $60 per hour. We expect that it will take about 2 hours to prepare for and attend an interview with us.
