This unique, one-day event focuses on LGBTIQA+ violence prevention, covering topics like language, family violence, masculinities, gender inequality, health and sexual violence.
Our keynotes will speak about understanding masculinities as a contributor to relational violence, and gender transformative gender equity, as well as how to handle backlash.
Hear some of the latest research on violence towards our LGBTIQA+ community. Learn how language matters and about the new LGBTIQA+ Family Violence framework. The day includes a session on self-care and wellbeing. We will also have a panel of experts responding to questions.
This event is held in partnership with Working It Out, Engender Equality and CORES Australia.
